Digiguide was discovered
by one of our organisers several years ago. The firm that makes
the software has no connection to tvfreelancers, so it's offered
'as is', but we think you may find it useful.
It enables you to view
detailed TV listings on your PC at any time, even when you're
offline. All you have to do is hook up to the Internet once a
week or so, and Digiguide will automatically download listings
for weeks in advance. It's fully customisable to
highlight the channels and types of programmes you want to watch.
So if you need to know what documentaries are being broadcast
on any one night, for example, you can set Digiguide to display
all documentaries in a different colour so they stand out.
What's more, you can
set Digiguide to build up an archive of programme listings. So
once you've been downloading listings for, let's say, three months,
you can search for any programme on a given subject that's been
broadcast within that period - invaluable if you're researching
a specific programme idea and want to know what else has recently
been transmitted on the subject.

digiguide60.exe (2.35 MB). Once the download is complete,
double-click on the file to install it.
